FAITHFIT

strength, balance/coordination, power, range of motion, and mobility.

Why FaithFit is an Awesome Workout

Our FaithFit classes are a combination of functional fitness, HIIT, gymnastics, cardio. Every day is something new and challenging. Each class will be between 45 and 60 minutes. We strive to do the same or more work most people would do in two hours at a traditional gym in 15 to 30 minutes. Our FaithFIt classes are the closest thing to a team environment in the adult workout world. While you are only responsible for yourself you are surrounded by others doing the same workout and all of you are trying your best to achieve one goal, leave better than you came.

WHAT IS FAITHFIT?

FaithFit is the execution of daily life movements with weights to improve the quality of life outside of the gym. So what are life movements? These include strength, balance/coordination, power, range of motion, and mobility.

Focusing on these aspects of your training will have numerous benefits that translate to your everyday life. Movements such as walking, jogging, running, sprinting, jumping, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, turning, standing, starting, stopping, climbing, and lunging.

Our FaithFit Class encourages everyone to have goals outside of the gym have goals about life. We want quality of life to improve for all of our members regardless of their current physical condition. We believe everyone can get better and have a better life!

Who should do FaithFit?

FaithFit can be done by anyone! It does not matter your age, or how good of shape you are in. Scaling and modifications make every FaithFit workout doable regardless of your fitness level. Our FaithFit class is a good alternative for those looking to become more overall healthy, get in shape, gain strength, and to break away from your very day workout routine

What you can expect from a FaithFit class?

Our FaithFit class is primarily comprised of 3 components. You will have a warmup, a weightlifting session, and a metcon. The warmup is generally there to get your blood flowing and loosen up prior to engaging in the weightlifting or metcon. Warmups are usually low weight to weightless movements. Our weightlifting sessions typically consist of power and Olympic lifting movements. Examples are back squat, front squat, deadlift, clean and jerk, and shoulder to overhead presses. Weightlifting cycles are usually 12 weeks long and consist of percentage work. We do work up to a 1 rep max after every 12-week cycle. FaithFit metcons are workouts done as class that are composed of functional movements performed for various time domains and rep schemes. Our metcons are always different so you are not stuck in the rut of doing the same movements over and over. FaithFit metcons can help build strength, endurance, wellness, and overall fitness.

I have never taken the steps to do anything like this before in my life. I was so intimidated going into the gym on the first day. But the environment is so welcoming and everyone from the coaches to the other members were SO helpful and friendly. Heather just helped to melt the intimidation away and focus on what I was there for. They are there every step of the way to answer questions as you learn everything. It was the first time I didn’t feel like an outcast at a gym.
